A little gift from Onkel Sigurd.
The man finally reached certain home. Early morning it was, everyone inside seemed to be still asleep. But it was alright and Norway didn’t mind being unnoticed by Italian men or little boy. Sigurd without any sound opened the mailbox in a way only known for him and put inside little parcel, as whistling quietly, left the neighborhood, just to vanish somewhere in Italian city and enjoy the rest of the day.
Inside the box there was a little, wooden stick with strange, engraved sign and little note, added to it.
“Dear Peter.
I may not always be around you, thus why I’m sending you this little part of my magic. This is Svefnthorn, and it’s a rune of restful sleep. Please put it under your bed or pillow, and I promise that you won’t have any problems with falling asleep and demons or other horrifying creatures won’t ever reach you.
