Austria: Well, the lessons are rather enjoyable and have a leisurely sort of pace. The atmosphere is usually serene.
Austria: But as for piano… Ludwig was always more partial to the strings family, which disappoints me, to say the least, but what can be done?
Austria: He’s a quick learner, but his posture makes me cringe. You all know very well how uptight Ludwig is - well, he’s the same way on the stool. Reserved.
Austria: On occasion he’ll need a little kneading of the shoulders to relax, but I’m glad to help him with that.

… You do not know what balzams are? … -sighs-
Tell me, how old are you? You look old enough to have begun drinking, I am disappointed in your elders if you’ve yet to try balzams. Sir England is a hypocrite not to have started you drinking yet. What cultural differences there are…
Come. We will fetch you at leas some vodka before we have you try balzams.
—ma’am? I’m six years old, I decided that I was six on my last birthday—
I don’t live with Mister England anymore, I live with Lovino and Feliciano, because they take care of me and stuff. And Captain Jones, and Vino, and Gil. I don’t—I don’t get it, I drink lots of water and milk and juice all the time…
[he blinks]
Vodka? I—oh, no, ma’am, I’m not supposed to drink that sort of stuff. That’s a grown up drink.
How very intrusive of you. I do not wish to hear of your life story, we have not become close enough for that. -scolding look-
Grown up drink? I was drinking alcohol when I was smaller than you. I am ashamed in today’s youth.
I’m sorry, ma’am, you just asked so I gave you an explanation. I always try to be good, and everything, but—
Ah…? No ma’am, I’m not supposed to touch them. Dad and Lovino and Feliciano say no, so I’m not supposed to. I’m sorry, but would you like some biscuits or something instead?
Bah. That is all I have to say to that.
… And you listen to them? Why would you do that? What sort of child are you? I am very disappointed. Hah, biscuits. I would much rather buy cheap beer. American beer, even! -laughs and thinks she’s funny-
…?
Yes, I’m supposed to listen to them, because I’m a good boy. And I do, because I like listening to them and even though I sometimes get in trouble, I always make sure to fix whatever I do wrong.
—if you want to buy beer, then, why don’t you?
I would have assumed you were about 6 if I hadn’t known better.
I never know how old to tell people I am.
I mean—
I don’t look especially young anyway.
Mister Ivan….
…
Mister Ivan looks to be about twenty.
[that’s his default answer]
20? Really?
..I must look better than I thought.
Yes sir.
You look twenty.

Artist’s Friend’s Comment (lol idk):
This one is done by my friend Stan! :) I asked him (or more like nagged) if I could post this haha since he doesn’t really post his stuff anywhere except his portfolio stuff on blogspot. I recently got him into Hetalia and America quickly became his favorite character HAHAH we were tempted to put a huge “FUCK YEAH” text on it but we had to pass it….lolol
Sealand is excellent at drawing realistic weaponry and architecture blueprints. He tries to show off to anyone who visits, and he keeps a lot of his drawings pasted up on the inside walls of his fort.

[Peter pulls the sock away and smiles proudly, glad that Lovi loves the sock just as much as he does.]
Mister England—ah, he helped me make it. Cause he had one, and I said that I wanted to make one too, and so I did, and it was awful nice of him to help me out and make it and everything.
No, he doesn’t have any. Just Mister England’s sock puppet, and I can’t pronounce his name.
How nice of him, you must be very glad to have someone like him around. Mmh, I never had the chance to make these kinds of little friends when I was small, but things were different back then, anyway.
Well then, I think that it would be nice if he had more friends—although I’ve no old socks to use! Hmm, maybe his friend could be made out of something else?
…someone like who? Like Mister England?

[he thinks about that for a moment, chewing at his lip.]
Well, I guess—I guess I am. I mean, even though I’m not good at being with him yet, I still like it, yeah. He’s awful nice when he isn’t upset at something. And—well! You have the chance to make friends like this now, right?
[and he presses it up against Lovi’s face again]
See? Do you want him to be your friend?
